Sophia Thorne is an author and developmental editor who splits her time between Upstate New York and Tennessee. A two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, Sophia has been writing since she was in 3rd grade. Sophia is a romantic at heart, so she enjoys writing emotion, sex, and love, while injecting it with a touch of angst and literary flair. She holds a BA in English Literature from SUNY Buffalo State, and is a developmental editor working in the genres of literary fiction, literary horror, gothic dark romance / PNR and contemporary romance. In her spare time, Sophia is a flaneuse, procrastinator, avid reader, candlemaker, and creator of far too many TikToks.
Under her real name, Tamara Burross Grisanti, she is the founder, Publisher, and Editor-in-Chief of Coffin Bell Journal, an international magazine of dark literature. Coffin Bell Journal publishes four online issues per year and a semi-annual print anthology.
